Hi, I’m Markus - a German native now living in the United States and raising a trilingual 5-year-old.

As a parent, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful language can be - and how quickly children’s confidence grows when they truly understand what they hear.​ But I’ve also seen the other side: how frustrating language learning can feel when children are overwhelmed, confused, or forced into rigid learning methods.

While we were reading a German book together, our daughter frequently stopped me and said: “Daddy… repeat.” She wanted to hear the sentence again - and she wanted to understand what it meant. So I repeated it. First in German. Then in English. And slowly, something beautiful happened: the words started to make sense.

​

That moment made me realize something important. Children don’t learn languages through memorizing vocabulary lists. They learn through stories, repetition, and understanding. The same way they learn their first language. That simple moment eventually became the idea behind Capsele.

I’ve always been passionate about technology and helping our daughter to become the best version of herself. Capsele was born at the intersection of those two worlds: parenting and technology.

​

My goal is simple - remove frustration from language learning and replace it with confidence, progress, and joy. Capsele isn’t just a product for me. It’s something I built for my own family - and now for yours.
